Terms of Use (BayLeaf)

Welcome to BayLeaf! By using our mobile application (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use BayLeaf.
- Who We Are
BayLeaf is developed by Adhav Rajesh and Patrick Halim (collectively “we” or “us”). These Terms govern your use of the App and its services. - Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use BayLeaf.
You create an account by signing up with your phone number and entering a one-time password (OTP).
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. - User Content
You own the rights to the content you post (recipes, photos, videos, comments).
By posting, you grant BayLeaf a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the App, and for promotional and marketing purposes on BayLeaf-controlled channels (e.g., website, social media).
You will not receive compensation for this license. - Acceptable Use
You agree not to:- Post unlawful, offensive, or harmful content.
- Harass, abuse, or impersonate others.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the App.
- Violate others’ intellectual property rights.
- Community Features
Users may comment on posts.
Users may report content that violates these Terms.
We may review and remove reported content at our discretion. - AI Features
BayLeaf may use AI to provide recipe assistance. AI responses are not guaranteed to be accurate, and you use them at your own risk. - Communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive communications (emails, SMS, push notifications). You may opt out of marketing messages, but we may still send essential service messages. - Future Paid Services
Currently BayLeaf is free. In the future, we may introduce subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other paid services. Specific terms will be provided then. - Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. - Disclaimer of Warranties
BayLeaf is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. - Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, BayLeaf and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. - Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. - Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of BayLeaf after updates means you accept the new Terms. - Contact
